We gather for a Family Feast
There is a moment when I am carried away
Separate from the busy conversations
To revel in the fullness
I am thankful for the plenty
Of
Amen at Grace
Love
Conversations
Noise
Laughter
Requests
Exchanges
Beef
Chilli beans
In separate pots
Tortilla
Jelly
Ice-cream
Cake
Vegetarian
Gluten free everything
Inclusion
Role reversals
They wash up
I play
And I know in the midst
Is the One who Loves
The One who Knows
The One Who Treasures each individual
And the moments of Plenty
We share
